1000 BTU AC ?

First letter from a Teardrop builder wannabe. I very much enjoy reading all the post about the trailers, people, camping, etc. I hardly miss a day! After a while, I feel like I know many of you although I have not yet met you.
Anyway, has anyone have any experience with this AC unit? It seems to be very compact, inexpensive, and not so powerful that you would have to do anything special to properly cool and dehumidify a teardrop.

It may be of what many of you need. I feel like the heated side could be vented to the outside. I would think a small flexible tube can bring in fresh air from the outside as well. As small as it is, I think it could be built in with some permanent draining "re-engineered" into the system. Anyway, just something I ran into. Is 1000 BTU enough if you TD is insulated?

I don't know anything about that unit, but a previous link to a similar unit gave it less than favorable reviews. It said you had to be sitting next to the unit in a room to feel any cooling effect, that it cooled little better than a fan. I also recall someone saying that two bodies in a tear had a heat output over 2000btu, or something like that. Just thought I would pass that along.

The ad says it blows warm air out the back. This might offset any cooling coming out the front, unless it's vented out some way.I'm not sure I would buy one just to test out.

14"x23"x9" I'd have to measure but I think that's about the size of my window are that I paid $50 for.
I've never been froze out by my 5000btu. I think for the money you'd be better to build in a small window air, you'll have to vent hot air out either way.
