I need to bend 1" square tubing to form the framework of my TT.
Any sugestions on the easiest and cheapest way to do this and get reatable result on each piece?? I may end up using flate stock for the curves if I have too. Thanks.

i've used one of these to bend square tubing

when you're finished with it, you'll be able to sell it to recoup some of your money back too.

How much bend do you need, at what radius, and how much buckeling is acceptable? For nice bends, your going to need a bender with dies designed for square tubing. I have a JD squared ( http://www.jd2.com/ ) that I bend round tube with and it is a nice machine. They make dies for square stock. If you need long, gradual arcs, your going to need to find someone with a slip roll machine set up for square stock.

Try looking on ebay for a pedastal band ring roller -I bent all my curves with it eaisly...its cheap and fun.The info on it says its not for tubing but i have bent lots with it..The best way to get two peices the same with it is to tack weld both peices together, bend them, then split your tacks apart..1" x 2" .060 is its max size for tubing with it.

Thanks for the info and sugestions. I'm still not sure which way I'm going to go. I may take the metal to my cousins shop and get him to bend it.
