Making room for construction

Postby deacon328 » Wed Apr 09, 2008 8:29 am

Hello everyone, Hope you are all doing well.

I am taking on two projects at once and have limited space, a one car garage to be exact. The trike project takes up the garage completely. I want to begin construction on my trailer, the trip is just 13 months away.

I am thinking of buying one of those portable covers you can put in your driveway. I found for for less than $150 that's 10' X 20'. It's made of a vinyl material.

My question is, would storing the project in a coer like that have any adverse affects on the construction? It wouldn't be directly xposed to the elements but it would be outside so to speak. What do you think?

I just moved my boat project into one, its perfect. I bought mine at Costco for $200. It won't work during the winter months due to the heating issues. I have converted my shop into a teardrop building area, I can build 2 at a time in there with room to spare.
Here is a pic of the 20' boat moving into the canopy.

Good luck on your build.
