This is my $2.00 door. :D , Well actually it started life as a refrigerator door, but deminsions where close enough and its insulated and solidly built. I'll remove the plastic inner panel and cut a piece of 1/8" plywood the same size and re-attach the seal. The frame will be made from angle iron, well here I go again, actually old bed rail frame, Darn I'm cheap, but hey I've got to go and gas up the truck today  .
Maybe on the next build I'll add the door with the ice and water (keg Cooler), well then again maybe not.
Handle is coming off and house type lockset going on. See pics of the door taken apart in my album.

I'd reconsider the bed frame angle if I were you. It's not the same as your regular everyday, off the shelf angle iron. It's hard to cut and even harder to weld. A few years back when we were remodeling an old motel we hauled all the old bed frames to the fab shop thinking the same thing as you. Use it instead of buying angle iron. Ended up hauling it all to the scrap yard as the fabricator refused to use it after trying it out on a few projects. Hope this helps. Peace.

I must have a different grade of steel. I've already cut and welded it into place. It cut and welded fine. Thanks for the advice tho. I guess all steels not the same. .

That's good to hear. The stuff we had dulled a metal cutting blade fast. Not sure why, but our welder refused to work with it. I'm all for re-using stuff when ever, and where ever you can. Good luck with the build.

Heres a pic of the door mounted from the outside. I still need to get a good doorknob. The one used was just a junk one for mock-Up.

And a pic from the inside. I think the original door seal is going to work fine. Kirkman, My wife gave me a real funny look when I told her about my door plans. She thinks I'm way out there. But I guess at this point theres no denighing it. :?

Thanks for all the nice comments. I think I have come down with the "TD Builders Syndrome" TBS is a group of signs and symptoms that occur together and characterize a particular abnormality to look at everything as TD parts. In the late stages people are known to disasymbol pretty much anything to get what they need for there fix. If you live near one of these people, you should guard your property carefully. So far I have parts from a Trampoline, see rear curves, satelite dish mount ring, see front curves. Some of the upper cross members where one fence post.
And my door opening is framed with bedrails. And of course the Refrigerator door. I just have to get this thing finished and gone before my neighbor gets back from his trip :D
William , The Madprinter is on the loose.

First we had to stay below 55 MPH. Now we gotta stay below 30 mph to avoid loosing the notes off of the door.
