YES, I did use them.
The total lenght is 10'and the height is 5'.
When I stand next to it I can look just over it. It is 1.98 meter high.
For the curves I used a very thin piece if wood that I made a round off.
This is the hardest thing to discribe (in english). I bought an other window, Seitz, made in Germany, dimensions 50 x28 centimeters, with combi rollo's in it. Also in the door comes a little round window and on the left side one round window. For the round windows I am still looking for the "bulleye"types, with possibylity to open them. When it is finnished I will paint the N@b T@b with Hamerrite in grey metallic and than put a coat of epoxy on it.

:applause: :applause:
You have done a wonderful job making the N@B. I think you will like camping in it.

The very thin wood is usually thin plywood or veneer.

Henk....really making some progress and I'm with Dean...great shop!!! Round windows (portholes) that open are difficult to come by. Anything that is made for marine use are very expensive. Good job!!! Doug

Henk,

Looking very good!

That epoxy you are going to put over the Hammerite, Does it have Ultra-Violet inhibitors in it? That would be hard to find here in the US.

The shop is a friends shop. he is carpenter.
I am only there to built the N@b T@b.
You know what a T@b is, but the N@b part of it has two meanings. In english its a little sleep and saying in Dutch its "nep", not realy a T@b. A fake?

I don't know of the hamerite has an UV filter built-in, otherwise I put some coatings of varnish on top.

What about the portholes made for example the customized vans?
Most of the time they are in there also.

And about the hamerite account, I loked today at the local shop, yes it has an UV filter in it.
