galley hatch options,, question

Hello,

I am in the getting supplies phase of my build and i am kinda in a pickle when it comes to the galley latch.

first off my trailer is a really small cargo type trailer in the teardrop shape, or will be. dimensions are 43x69x28.

here are the 2 options i am looking at,

first is the std 3 point lock

and the second is to get a pair of these in locking form to go onto the sides.

there is a few things that is making the decision a stickler..

One is cost, one is considerably cheaper than the other but im not sure if the clamping power would do any damage.

2 on the 3 point one im thinking it might be just too much of a lock for the 43 inch wide smallish galley hatch. like protecting a 25 dollar bicycle with a 300.00 padlock.

I guess my question would be; Is there any reason i should not go with the pop up camper latches?

the camper locks are similar to what I`m using, one on each side, I think Mike used them on a benroy, that`s where I got the idea from, maybe he will post a pic here.............

those look good.. in looking around it seems those are the only ones available. kinda figured some of the old school companies would have made some with more curves..

Well i have a couple sources for these now. one for silver and one if i need to paint it.

Thanks!
