Opinions on body work

Tornadoboy's question about the cheapest way to protect the TD exterior has me thinking. I am tempted to go the route of exterior house paint myself as this project is getting a lot more expensive than I thought it would after purchasing a Fantastic Fan, all the lighting, windows etc, etc. I still have aluminum trim to go, the hatch and door hinges - and the final exterior finish. I read elsewhere on the forum where someone suggested we should "not let the perfect become the enemy of the good". So, having started with the plan of using CPES, then the epoxy wood filler, followed by Uniflex, I'm now considering a primer sealer followed by a good exterior house paint.

Sorry for the long post, but, if exterior house paint is used, what do you consider a good body filler for filling the seams at plywood joints in the body, on the roof and along the line where the body meets the roof plus all the various screw holes? It seems to me that investing the time in this step will result in the best final appearance of the trailer even if using the less expensive finish.

I use MDO plywood on the sides & luan on the roof. I sealed the roof with CPES and filled all the hole & cracks with Bondo wood filler. I then primed everything with oil based primer & then painted it with 3-4 coats of gloss exterior oil based paint. It has held up very well for the las 2 years.
