Weekender report.

Hey All,
Havent posted in a long time, too many dr visits ,3 strokes,2 heart attacks,2 heart surgerys,3 stints,7 ortho surgeys and Now I have to do battle with the big C,Thats a lot for a 50 yr ol man but im still here!Good lord must have a reason not to have taken me yet but have been camping prolly 3 dozen times in the weekender and we love it.Had only 1 small leak around the gally where I forgot to calk.Every thing woorked out great on bowhuntin trips and to all the bluegrass festivals. The only thing we added was 2 ez ups,1 at the side door with walls for changing and pickin when its rainning and 1 at the back for cookin.Only thing I would have done different is to put in less insulation,Ive got way too much! When its 15 outside and you have to open the door to let out body heat you have too much! Even in the spring we have to run the air all night If its 60 outside it wont take long with me and ol moneybags to be 80 inside.Overall it worked out great! :applause:

Critter,

good report on the Weekender... bad report on your arteries.

Maybe you should switch over to what food eats... and get rid of those clogged arteries. You can start here: http://www.ravediet.com/

Critter,

Let me guess - your friends call you "Lucky"? (Grin) Seriously, I'm sorry you have to deal with all that but it sounds like you're not letting it get you down. That's important.

Good job on the teardrop! I'll keep in mind what you said about the insulation. I give off a lot of heat even when I'm sleeping. How much insulation did you use in the walls?

Critter,

I am also sorry to hear about your health stuff. It sounds like a lot to deal with, but loved the pictures of your teardrop.

Good to hear someone else likes bluegrass - that is nice stuff.

Wow critter, sounds like a really bad run of health luck. Hope you are doing ok now....as much as you can with the big C. Like Mike said, maybe a change in diet might help. Anyway, we will say a prayer for your complete healing and be sure and keep us updated with what's going on. BTW, the trailer looks great and it looks like some fun times camping.

 Wow Critter---what a lot to deal with! Got you on the prayer list too. Glad to hear the TD is working out for you. I did my insulation but put in a great window so Mike can't get it too hot.

Be well and stick around more.

Thanks Guys,
All prayers appreciated!I understand that my future is in the lord's hands and he knows what to do with me.I'll used 2x2 framing and filled the void with 1 sheet of 1/2 and 1 sheet of 3/4 foamboard.I think I should have used one or the other and not both but its too late now, hindsight huh!
