I drove about 90miles and picked up some windows. When I got home, they dropped right in.

My Fantastic fan was waiting on my doorstep when I got home too.

Man, do I HAVE to take everything apart? I was moving the wires to the rear. The fan motor looks just like the radiator fan motor on my Honda.

That fan looks awsome! Wish I had bought one of those.
I bought the inexpensive one from J.C.Whitney, and although it works, it doesn't move very much air.

Steve, if your vent is a 14x14 it is never to late to upgrade, just checkout
http://members.aol.com/fantasticvent/. As my old daddy used to say "you pays yo money and you takes yo chances" (at least somebody said it)

MadJack,
I'd consider doing that if I hadn't just installed it yesterday!

asianflava,
Where did you get your windows at?

I got the windows at a camper manufacturer. I had heard about them from another teardropper. All he could remember was the area it was located. I had to do some detective work to find it. It was difficult because they have no web address or e-mail. The place is called P&S Camper Mfg in Lott, TX. It is an interesting place, they sell camper shells, tonneau covers, etc. but they also make their own camper shells for 70's F-150s.

Asian, glad you were able to find the place despite my very vague directions...the windows look good! My Cubby is about ready to a road test, just a few more little items to go!

Whoo Hoo! Am I gonna see you in April?
I also managed to find the aluminum trim. You said, "a boat shop on 183 near Best Buy." Normally that would have been just fine but I forgot that there are 2 Best Buys on 183.

The one near 620 has Sail & Ski and Travis Boating center nearby. I went to Sail & Ski first then Travis Boating and they didn't have it.

I was heading South when I realized that Boater's World was near the South Best Buy. The guy didn't know what I was talking about but he found a catalog. They are going to give me a quote.

I hope to be finished in the next few weeks. The t molding should be about $24.00 for a stick...I had one small problem going around a small curve, but other than that it bends great! Give me a call, I learned a few lessons about installing the door correctly.

Asianflava, to me those windows actually look more "correct" than some others I've seen. I mean they look more like what I'd expect a teardrop to have. I really like them.
So my question is: "Did you go straight to the maker of the windows or is it someone that's getting the windows from someone else?"
I'd really like to find a line on these. I've found other windows which will certainly work fine, but I really like yours.
What are the dimensions and do they offer them in different sizes?

Dave, I wanted that window look also. Go to

Grant has several sizes. I also got the fantastic fan today. It looks like a killer unit. Also checked out your pics, it looks great....Doug Hodder

They make camper shells. They buy the windows but I didn't see the manufacturer name. Mine are 15X24 I think they are the same ones that Grant sells. I didn't check for myself but I think shipping would have been expensive. It was a matter of a 90mile drive for me.

I like that style better, but have always been concerned about how wide they open. They say crank out and I don't know if that means they crank out 4" and stop. I really want the cross ventilation and am not sure if these windows will do that. Hopefully, I'm wrong. So, how wide do they open?

Your trailer's really coming along, AF. With the AC, that's going to be one comfortable tear.
