screws screws screws ?????

Two questions.
1) What type of screws do I need to use for Grants windows. Can you give the exact size and type so I wont be staring at the endless differences at HD.
2) What type of screws did everyone use for the door trim? Rounded or Flat with counter sink.
Can you also show me some picture if possible.

Mike...on the windows I used #8 pan head sheet metal screw, stainless 1/2", I have the 15x18 windows and drilled the top and bottom with 2 holes each in addition to the holes on the sides, for good squish on the sealer. 14 screws per window. They are available in a zinc plate also, cheaper.
I didn't use the trim you are talking about so can't help there. Doug

I can't wait till I can get this thing done. Every time I think I'm close something else bites me in the butt. I think I'm going to have some problems with water getting in through the doors and galley door.
Do you could fly out here and finish the tear for me?
I would love to have someone local come by and finish it for me and fix all the mistakes that I made.

Sorry Mike.....I got one of my own to finish up...and it is like nearly 100 in the garage and I've been in and out of the tear about 50 times today on my knees. You'll get it. Sometimes it is 1 step forward and 2 steps back. Doug

I used stainless sheetrock screws with a ss finish washer, abit pricey, but I think it looked better than countersinking all the trim screws. On a woodie that looks good, on an alum. I would use pan heads, or truss heads

Thanks Lucas for giving me a choice, I think I'm going to save the money so I can sink it further into my teardrop build.
