Does this 1954 benroy wheel turn

can anyone tell me if this wheel suppose to trun or is it a fixed wheel. so far i know the wheel rolls but i cant turn it. i dunno if it is because of the rust.

Yep, it should spin around and around. What you may have to do is stick a jack stand under the tongue and and remove the wheel unit (not the whole jack). Satcherate (ms) it with WD40 to try and brake loose the roller balls (bearings). That will be a hard jack wheel to replace without replacing the whole jack unit. (take your time with it)

Using a fluid Rust remover before WD40, CRC or penetrating oil might work. Especially if left overnite.
Heat might also help.

I have had luck getting rusted things apart or moving by using a good penetrating spray and sealing the part in a plastic bag for a few days or so.

This is by far the best stuff I have ever used on rust, I believers when others try it. It's made by ZEP manufacturing. I have sprayed really rusted parts before that I can't move with a wrench and come back the next day and can almost take the rusty part off by hand.

from a saltwater guy, I would not use WD-40 but instead Corrision X spray. Same stuff, but it does not have water in the spray.

PB blaster can loosen up a virgin..
but since your not dealing with a virgin, it will work on that old part too.

Dexron and kerosene in a bucket.
Set wheel in bucket.
Go away for a few days.
Come back and whack it with a hammer.
Repeat as necessary.

UNFORTUNETLY I FOUND OUT NOT TO WACK IT WITH A HAMMER I DENTED PART OF THE WHEEL. YOU CAN TELL ONLY IF YOU LOOK CARFULLY. I BOUGHT THAT SPRAY AND LET IT SIT FOR ANOTHER DAY SO SEE WHAT HAPPENDS.
