Any one have any thoughts to one vs two doors? I was thinking it would make construction alot easier and save on materials as well. I am still thinking about putting a window in the doorless side. I having two exits that important or do most of you end up using only one once you get camp set up?

2.... 1 normal exit, 1 fire exit

All BS aside, if its just you camping in it, 1 will suffice. If you ever intended to bring another, 2 is much easier for late nite gotta go moments.

Also, it's been stated that 2 doors help the resale value over just one. But build it how YOU want it. Personally, I think 2 doors is worth the small extra cost/effort.

I built with one and wish I had two. That's the only thing I would have done differently if I did mine over.

It makes making the bed easier too. Also, some campsites are left handed.

Thanks all. Two it is. I just had a moment of doubt there and started to think of ways to streamline the process. Onward...

Its a mattter of preference but my preference is 2 due to the fact I hate to crawl over someone to get in or out of the tear.

I built mine with two doors. It's nice not to have to crawl over your wife when you need to get up in the middle of the night.
It also adds to the resale value. When mine was rear-ended, the second door was a large factor when determining the settlement amount I received from the other driver's insurance company. The increase was significant.

Definately two.
I always use both doors during a camp trip but which one we use the most depends on the campsite we're in.
And the extra light through the second door window is priceless.

I have just one door and I have not regretted it.
We are getting close to 90 nights and it works well for two 70 year olds!
My door is as wide as possible, so those get up at night moments are not as difficult as they seem.

I have only one door in mine and I am very happy with it. It has not been a problem at all. If I were to build it again I would still go with one door.
Never had a problem making the bed or getting in and out. With one door there is less chances for a leak, less maintanance, stiffer body. I think having one door makes it look better as well. A.H.
