I was wondering if that 3m spray glue in a aerosol can would work ok to glue insulation inside the walls? Anyone use it? I got it in Wal-Mart's craft section....

I used 3 layers of 1/2 inch foam board and trimed it for a tight fit, no glue.

Eric, I'm not sure if it was the combination of foam, 3m spray adhesive and Gorilla glue or what. But once when doing the roof there was some strong (eye burning) type fumes that arose. I only noticed this when the foam came near an area that had the not quite dried Gorilla glue. I made sure the glue had cured completely after that before placing any foam near a glued joint.

Cool...so Liq Nails + foam = melted foam. #M spray + foam = Good according to Kai!

I did mine like Norm with three layers of 1/2" polystryene and stuck them together with hot melt glue. Just has to hold it till you put the covering over the top. I've seen some folks use tape to hold it in place while covering.

I used duct tape to hold the foam in place on the Stripper. Staples reinforced the hold.
As I recall, I took a lot of razzing for that!!
