Fan install..under or over skin?

Postby shoeman » Thu Jul 24, 2008 3:53 pm

The Generic Benroy plans are vague on skinning and how to deal with the fan. I'm going aluminum on my skin and I'm thinking the fan goes on AFTER the roof skin goes on.
Correct??
99% of the way done with a Generic Benroy. Only because these might never be done if you like to tinker. But it's on the road!

Yes that is correct. Put a bead of caulk or silicone down and install the fan on top of that.

Mike, I got around 700 pics of my build. They do come in handy for questions like these. I feel its my part in giving back to the forum for what the forum has taught me
