Great shape but it's GIANT! I presume you're taller than me (I'm 5'10"). My standard mental design exercise is for 76" interior width and about 74" height. To fit my garage I prefer overall length to be under 18' and overall height to be under 90".

Hi, Jim:

It has a nice profile. I'm guessing you're making your proposed teardrop as tall as you can fit through the garage door? If so....:

1) Remember to add the height of the chassis to the tear's cabin height
2) If you want a vent on top, you'll need to add in its height as well.

Wishing you success!

Looks like a big Widget, Jimbo!! You could put in a dropped floor and cut down on some of the height or leave it and call it a Bidget...... :D

Jeff, I'm gonna call it the "Gigantear". and I don't want to cut down the size, since it seems some of our "Illustrious " leaders are bring Shasta's and Scotty's to teardrop gatherings, so what the hey... :)

Sharon, the Gigantear will spend it's entire life outside under a carport, my garage is a complete disaster area.

Gigantear it is....... Alright, let's see some floor plans. Oh, plan on putting some sort of jack or stabilizer on the back. Our Widget did a wheelie at MadJack's shindig 3 weeks ago. Our bed is in the back and with us sleeping there, our two 40+ pound dogs made just enough of a difference that it tipped backwards......... I was embarassed that it happend but never gave it a thought that it WOULD happen.
