Check out my build thread "Red Dragons - The Build" and you will see by the end of the weekend. I just finished up my trailer modifications this morning and will start to put the floor on tomorrow. I took a few days off to work on my tear. I couldn't find my 5/16th wood drill bit, so I have to run out in the morning to get another one and a few sheets of plywood for the interior floor.

I did a 65" wide on a HF frame with a small dropped floor. I went 65" and over the wheels, because it went totally over the fenders as well, it also accommodated 2 "Junior Twin" size mattress's (32" wide) with no "Lumps" for the wheel wells.

Simply let floor hang over all the sides (frame rails) by 6 inches and set walls on floor....

I overhung the sides 6", but on the length, I took 2 of the crossmembers and put them where the two center pieces met and extended it 1 foot. Just had to redrill new holes, and used a 2x4 to make up the lost crossmember. I have some pics in my album, but it may not show where the extension is.

This is how I did it. We extended the axle 6" on the side and the carraige carries the side panel. I ran wood to the front and the rails can not be seen. Now that I done, I am pleased with the results.

I went 5 wide on my HF frame. Its really unusual because I went 5 high as well. Just build the floor out over the top of the wheels and build in wheel wells.

Here's the floor before anything else what done (I later removed the fenders):

and here's what the wheel wells look like:

More pictures in my album of the floor and frame.

Good Luck,
