Finally! The walls are up!!

Well, it sure took me a while but I finally got the walls up. Reality is that I ran out of things to work on without having the walls up. I think in the back of my mind I was a bit scared to go ahead and put them up. Would they fit? How would it look?? Saturday I bit the bullet and put them up. I was surprised on how well it went together. Cindi was saying we will never get it together right but it happened fairly easily. I was starting to feel proud about my work. I have a TV in my garage and just as I was feeling good about myself the show "The 7 Deadly Sins" came on The History Channel and that particular episode was on pride, the "Chief of All Sins". Great! Was someone trying to tell me something? Dang, I've never done anything like this before and I can't even enjoy my work LOL. Well, here are the pictures, just in case you were interested.

Looking sweet - a little sweat does not make you sinful - But envious - THATS something else.

:applause: Mark and Cindy, All I can say is "Far out! Amazing! "

Many of us have been waiting too to see your teardrop come together. I'm certainly no linguist (is that a word) but there is a difference between proud and pride, and you certainly have reason to feel proud.

Mark - By the way, since you threw me and Thomas into the 2 versus 3-hinge conundrum, where did you purchase hinges #5 & #6?
Gig'em, Tom

I bought all six at the same time ($24.24 each from Moore Industrial Hardware). I bought them before I had constructed the door and once I had the doors made is when I had my own personal conundrum on the hinge question.

Hinges

It's already impressive and you aren't even done yet!

I can imagine the feelings: Apprehension at putting it all together; excitement and exhilaration when things started fitting with each other just right; and the feeling of accomplishment as well as pride when you step back and see it's all gonna be worth it!

Congratulations!
