Generator Size....

Postby justonegear » Sun Jan 18, 2009 11:48 am

Hey Folks, I have a few questions. I am building a TD that has a cab size of 9' long 5.5 wide and 5' high, it is well insulated with 2 doors both with large windows. Could you please advise...

1) AC unit size and brand.
2) Generator size and brand

Thanks for the help. Happy Trails

Can't help with the air conditioner...but I have a Honda EU2000i generator. That's a popular choice on the BBS. Its pretty quiet and runs well.

any 5k a/c will do, or a petcool.... but the eu2000 is a great gen. pricey, but the price goes away after a while and the cool remains. used my eu2000 for 2 weeks in a corn field, along with 125 other much bigger rigs, and it worked great.

a 5000 BTU unit is plenty big, and the 2000 watt genny will run it with no problems.
