There sure are a lot of details to finish one of these, but after three winters, I think I can see the end in sight!!!! Here's the past week's progress...

Glassing the tongue box...

Excess trimmed...it's a bit boxy, but functionally it's just big enough to hold the EU2000i and the battery box. Maybe I can do something with the lid design that will help.

Caned galley doors (waiting on some binder cane and hinges to finish). Tomorrow, I'll get after building the slide out for the stove!

Stand by for Iditarod updates starting Sunday...Juneaudave ;)

The detail in your work is unbelievable. I've been watching it for awhile now but these last few pics are looking gorgeous.

I ended up taking most all the suggestions...add a light, add removable covers and use nicer hardware... the licence plate and taillights are now covered with floating panels like this...

OK Dave. Here is what you gotta do now. Pour you a slab addition to your house. Tile it, put a turntable in the middle, put your beautiful teardrop on it when finished. Then, frame and finish the walls of your addition without any doors to get your teardrop out! Just one door that leads into your house. Put flood lights all around the Tear, turn the turntable on and just look. All you need that thing for. If you ever just have to sleep in it, turn the turntable off and crawl in. No cooking, smoking, eating, drinking, or anything else allowed!

Beautiful job,

Ricky

It goes without saying but I'll say it: that is some really top notch carpentry. :applause:

A real headturner. I hope your tow vehicle is an old pick-up or something cool?
