Final Planning Stages

Brought our 8x5 trailer home yesterday, and am hoping to get going with the actual building very shortly. I'd apprecaite any comments on our thoughts as of now.
The design is taken from the Weekender, but heavily modified; we want to do it as simply, quickly and cheaply as possible. The length has been reduced to eight feet by eliminating the fore and aft overhangs - uses just one sheet of ply per side, and keeps the body totally within the flatbed. Since we have camped for years, we aren't planning to do a kitchen hatch at this point; the rear will be solid, with the 16" aft area being used as storage - the lower section being accessible thru small side doors, and the upper section forming 'cubby' storage within the trailer. Equipment will be kept to an absolute minimum - no elaborate built-in cupboards, no sound system, no 120 circuits, etc. In essence, we want a warm, dry comfortable bed on wheels...
Comments and suggestions are welcome....
