restoring Jalousies windows

OK, now after I have taken my restored 65 Scad-A-Bout out a few times, I must get down to upgrading a couple of items, first I will have rebuild my right door being it is hopelessly warped, and nothing I have been able to do worked, I guess this is my minor problem. My Jalousies window is another matter. I have been unable to locate replacement windows, so I guess I must take my windows out and try to remanufacture the windows using hardware, my major problem is the edge that holds the window in is either broken off or weak and no longer holds the window in the way it should.
I thought I would be able to locate a aftermarket clip that would hold the windows tight, but if there is one out there I have not been able to locate it.
Browsing websites it seems as if all of the basic parts are still available, and it seems as if I can disassemble the window and rebuild them, I thought I saw on one of these types of sites another guy who has done this.
Has anyone done this who can guide me though the process. I don't want to even start until all of my ducks are in a row and I have all of the parts bought and tools on hand.
All help welcomed
