Teardrops n Tiny Travel Trailers

I just got an old Coleman popup, fiberglass & aluminum skin. Haven't seen much of the inside yet, but what I have seen looks to have been sheltered pretty well. What kinds of things might I salvage from this for my own build or for resale?

I'm guessing I can take a look at the stove, sink & fridge, plus any vents. There doesn't seem to be much metal for scrap recycling (drat!). The canvas is shot; it's all crumbly.

Mostly, I'm wondering where to be careful and where I can whack it for all it's worth ... I have some ideas, but expert advice is always better

Cushions and mattresses are a good salvage for the foam, as well as lighting fixtures and 12-volt electrical bits of all sorts. Running lights and taillights can be reused as well.

I am rebuilding a TTT, so not quite the same as a teardrop build, but that is what I would be after in a big way if so gifted. As it stands I'm in the junkyard scavenging for such things for mine (Jeep taillights, anyone? )

Will you be using the frame of the Coleman for your build?

Sinks, stoves, water inlet, power inlet, fuse box if it's got one.
I built on an old pop up and unfortunately tore down and trashed every thing planning on just building a flat bed trailer. A year later I caught the bug.
Save as much as you can you can always trash later if you can't use it or pass it on to someone that might be able to.

I am also building a TTT as my husband wants a 'standie' ... he won't consider a tear for that reason. I fell in love with a 1965 Shasta Compact that Greg had for sale, but I didn't have the money for what it was really worth, so I'm going to build one inspired by it. At least that's the plan...

Yeah, I'll be using the frame and anything else I can scavenge off the Coleman for the build ... and selling anything else that will sell so I can buy RV windows.
