I have begun the project. Teardown was the first step.

The son in law and I got it on its side.

Started prying off the old shell.

I'm glad the son-in-law was there to help.

Finally got it off the frame.

Ahhhh the frame at last.

Great frame there, it has lots of really good stuff. Something you might consider getting off the body are the wheelwells, they will save you lots of fussing in your build, and they work great,

Have fun, thanks for the pictures

Damn, I knew I shouldn't have done my kid's birthday party ... now I'm behind! <g> Nice work. Interesting removal. I might do that after I've finished stripping off all the good stuff. Get the husband to help some...

Don't worry, my project will be paced out as money comes in. $>

I put all the left over trailer in the back of the truck and took it to the dump.

Looks like it was lots of fun.

I love demolition.

Especially if I don't have to put it back together. 8)

I was looking at different trailer plans for weight distribution concerns (kitchen in the front and all). I noticed that the frame wheels are not in the same relative position as they are on your design -- they're much farther forward. Did you plan on moving the axle? Just askin.

I probably won't move the axle, but will move the door down a bit. The way the trailer was built is a bit different than I thought it would be.

I think I am going to go out and change the flat tire on the trailer so it moves a bit easier.

Funny, it seems to look better and feel better. Somehow it seems more valuable now. :D
