Looks good! You might want to consider getting you hatch supports located before you skin it. It makes it a lot easier if you can reach/see right through while you're doing it.

Yep Dean...I'm going to do that...right now I'm working on the cross - "beams"...or whatever they are called.

Nice job!

What kind of height are your spars? About the same as a piece of planed 2" x 1"???

I'm designing a build and it's that constant trade off between strength and weight which I find the biggest challenge...

That's right Mal, that way they are flush with the cross ribs.

I'm further along with my hatch build today and just got my supports on...they came today and were $9 a piece. I used the "star wheel" supports they work great and were easy to fit.
