Got a pic of how you did it ??? Don't want to make the same mistake I made before if I can't go with a hurricane hinge (which I still hope to).

I haven't used that myself. I have seen a Hunter Shadow that uses it. It is a nice thick hunk of rubber.

Marck, PM me. I'll hook you up.

Push come to shove we can do it at Promised Land.

Marck:
I put some rubber roofing on mine. Len instructed me on how to do it and it has saved my galley from water intrusion. The rubber roofing has a dark side and a white side. I put the dark side facing the elements by mistake but it doesn't make a difference...just a cosmetic difference. This is a picture before I cut off the excess. I used 2 long flat pieces of aluminum strips, drilled holes where the screws would go (lots of them) and used clear silicone to seal it to the galley roof and put silicone on every screw head. I really, really used a lot of silicone but I just didn't want water in my glaley again.

 Used rubber roofing stuff. I put it down with a row of sealant and some aluminum strips over to hold it down.
