I plan on covering the sides with aluminum. What are people using to cover the corners?

Something like this from Lil' Bear?

The second or third one from the left will work.
The second one needs vinyl insert molding but makes for a nice looking corner. :D Danny

I love using this stuff

Its available at most local RV Dealers, in long lengths (no joints as in 8' lengths), bends easy, looks good and can cover a lot of imperfections

Len, Is that stuff aluminum? vinyl? It's white...does it come in other colors? AND...how long is the drop down?

The molding is aluminum, it really comes in 3 colors white, an almond (called Colonial white) and Mill.

How ever if your buying it from a local RV dealer, which would be a lot cheaper (shipping will kill ya) you may have to settle for what ever he has.

But With a little "scuffing up" it takes paint very well.

The drop down is about 1/2"

Hope this helps.

...not Len here BUT, it is aluminum, usually comes in polar white, cream white or mill finish...because it a RV specific product, it is (usually) dead soft for bending around curves.........

That's what I used. It comes with no lip, a short lip or a longer lip. I used the longer lip on the edges and it bent around my curves just fine. I used the one with no lip to trim the junction of the roof with the diamond plate. I used the mill finish with white insert trim.

I ordered some from Lil Bear, as well as windows, latches and hinges. Even though he's closing down for a week, he promised to ship last Friday.

The long pieces arrived today (Saturday)! They were packaged in a piece of 2" PVC, and bundled.

I just wanted to pass on a story of wonderful customer service. 1 day shipping (yeah, I live near by), solid packaging and fair pricing - on a day when he had far more serious things to deal with.

Tip of the hat to Lil Bear.

Can't wait for the windows to arrive.

I just bought 2 pieces of it from an RV dealer here in Lincoln. It was $12.89 for a 14 ft piece. The insert tape was about $8 bucks. The 14 ft piece covered front to back with about ten inches left over.
