New Extra Wide Hatch Molding

Postby So-Cal Teardrops » Mon Jul 27, 2009 12:32 pm

We just got our new hatch molding from the extrusion house.

Left: Extra Wide Offset Tee

Middle: Standard Offset Tee

Right: Standard Door Tee

We have all these extruded in the soft T1 state, so they are easy to bend. Go to http://www.socalteardrops.com/trimmolding.html for dimensions and prices.

Happy building,

Not wanting to steal any of your trad secrets, but can you show an example of how this trim "seals" to the teardrop roof? Also, is the entire hatch raised 1/4" or so above the teardrop profile?

Thanks, Tom

Tom, I will throw ya an answer to your second question...the profile under the hatch is lowered(notched) 1/4-3/8th to accommodate the seals/trim and keep the hatch level and inline with the profile..........
