Full Door Screen

Used the teardrop in Myrtle Beach, SC.....needless to say VERY hot.
My TD is the basic Little Guy, no DC power, no AC, just an extension cord to run the coffee pot.
The door/window leaves little to desire for ventilation while closed.
So does any one have info / idea / design for a full door opening screen? Is it possible to buy screening, sew velcro onto it and use it that way?

Velcro all the way my friend. Super easy if you have the carpeted walls in a LG. I have just about everything on the walls of my interior mounted with heavy duty velcro. I cut out a piece of good mosquito screen/netting a little wider than the frame of the doors but with a little overhang in the length. I just hot glued a velcro strip on the top and a couple on the sides. I keep them stored and folded up in a holder on the wall (mounted with you guessed it, velcro).

Yep, looking at your album now - you're good to go. Velcro definitely follows the K.I.S.S. philosophy. If you find something just as easy that works better, please post it for me. Seriously - no sarcasm. Someone else posted a teaser that they had come up with a clever idea for a full mosquito screen and would post pics and explanation soon... I'm still waiting.

Velcro was NEARLY worth all of the money we spent on NASA

The velcro idea works, but after putting up / taking down the screen I think this will eventually wear out the carpeting at the point of contact.
I posted pics on my album.....
I used 1/8" x 3/4" strip metal, cut to length and screwed to wall around door frame.
I found 1/2" wide magnetic strip which I cut to the same length of the metal.
The nylon screening is cut larger for now. I will form a pocket at the top to slide the magnetic strip into. The sides will be folded and glued for neatness and the magnetic strip attached on top of screen. The bottom can be tucked between the mattress and the side of the camper.

Hey, alright! Looks good! :applause: Whether magnets or velcro, that's keeping it simple and easy. Nice job. One thing, I wouldn't tuck the screen under the mattress, it can be a pain to locate (especially at night) and when tucking it back under you can yank it right off of wall. I keep a small lip on top of the mattress to grab hold of from the inside. The side velcro or magnets will keep it taught. Then as I re-enter the tear backwards, my butt pushes the screen open.
