I need help with windows

What type of windows are acceptable? What type can be used? how are they installed???

I'm still debating insulated walls or uninsulated, so what works best.

I was thinking about using two storm windows on the door, a regular one on the outside, and a custom on the inside (Window locks on the outside, no screen). Are house windows acceptable? (I got my hands on a free anderson vynle window)

How about a sky light? I could use two picture storm windows(no screen, single pane of glass) again, one inside, one out. Would this turn the TD into one of those boy scout solar ovens?

I would not use house windows, for the simple reason that the glass is not tempered on any window used 3 ft or more of finished grade. That means if it breaks you will end up with shards of glass insted of small peices.Storm windows are not made as well as RV windows and I don't think they would hold up to the pot holes etc.Look on Ebay for surplus RV windows.I bought mine for less than you could buy a house window at the big box store.
My 2cents,

I would start by looking at what Grant sells...

Also check out the windows in the sdtripper2's index, up there in the menu.

Anything about the skylight?

I was looking at the radious corner picture window on the lilbear page

http://www.lilbear.teardrops.net/parts4.html#windows

Would this work in an overhead application?
