Wall Attachment - Skirted trailer frame

Looking through the wall attachment sticky, I don't see the option I read about in the frame tutorial. How is it done with a wood skirted frame???

If it helps, I want to use a hybrid of the rabbet and the internal cleat methods.

Do I just skirt the frame with 3/4" by 2" boards flush with the top of the frame, then treat the skirt like I would the wood frame in the illustrations?

Best way to attach skirt to trailer frame?
