Madjack or any other seal expert ,
Could you go to mc master -carr and look at page 3408 at item numba 1
the 3 quarter stuff (item 1120 A36 )
This is what i was thinking of using on my hatch walls
im thinking it will work but wondering about top side on the hatch itself i guess closed cell d shaped stuff i got from grant will do the trick
if you look at album you will see i already used edge seal on door frames wit great success but not seal with weather strip attached what do you think of it and would you use it ?

Norm, without a close up pic of the mating surfaces of the hatch/wall it is impossible to give an accurate answer...however, the "D" stuff from Grant is hard to beat...on the specific product you indicated, I used the #3 profile for my doors inner seal and it worked great...for the hatch, I used a "D" on the first one and 2 layers of 1x3/16 closed cell weatherstripping on the second one...I like the "D" seal MUCH better.................
