Where was this tank (bottom of page) mounted on a kenskill teardrop?

John, I believe it was mounted above the counter top and against the bulkhead, standing in the position shown, making it a gravity flow setup......

p.s. note where the water fill is...just below the top edge trim...MJ

p.s.s. the original galvanized metal tank is seen on the top left of galley.....MJ

It would work if mounted under the trailer with a pump, would it not? I like the depth...4 1/2 ". That would only protrude 2" below my frame......

John, I don't know how the fill & feed setups are located and it may be hard to fill or empty completely since it was not designed to be used that way.....

Hey Micro, why don't you drop them a line and see where the plugs are and tell them what you are planning to do? They could have some suggestions if this product doesn't work for you.

I have a 10 gallon and one thing is that you will want a plug at the lowest point of the tank if you have to drain it. Unless there is one on the other side of the tank, it doesn't appear to have a drain in the proper location.

I got mine from George at teardropparts.com. Like madjack said, The original Ken-Skill water tank is mounted behind the back splash like this. Note the outlet on the lower right and the hose that runs through the upper galley cabinet. I think you would have a difficult time making it work if you mounted it on the bottom of the trailer. There has to be a better tank than this for your application.
