Adhesive ? FRP to spars

Morning all, I am inquiring about the recommended adhesive for attaching FRP indoor panel to the ceiling of my tear drop spars...any suggestions.. I understand liquid nails construction adhesive is a no..no..may disolve the plastic. Help....Txbum (Richard) :thinking:

Intially, I was going to use those panels for the ceiling. I did look at the manufacturer's recommendations for adhesives. There are special adhesives, but after more research I found out that many builders on this forum used PL Premium.

Contact Cement does not work well. I know from experience. I also did some tests with Gorilla Glue, and would not recommend it.

Liquid Nails does have an FRP adhesive...

FRP is usually applied to walls in places like public Restrooms. So, it is bonding to sheetrock panels, not small ribs of wood.

You may have to use adhesive and mechanical support, like screws, at least in some of the roof spars.

Thanks Aggie79 and Caseydog, I hope Ican find the Liquid Nails FRP in a caulking gun tube size. I really do not need much only attaching one sheet to spars about 10 spars.. I hope to meet you guys at LCG IV in couple weeks...Richard da Txbum :thumbsup: W.T.A.W!
