FILON, group buy?

Postby McBrew » Sun Oct 25, 2009 8:41 am

I am thinking of using FILON for the roof and maybe even the sides of my TD. The only p,aces I've been able to find have a pretty high minimum order... like $1,000 or so. I wonder if they'd be willing to do a group buy... or maybe I could buy the minimum amount if I could sell the rest to other folks who are looking for FILON, too.

If someone knows of a place that sells FILON in small amounts, preferably in the mid-eastern states, I'd appreciate the tip!

Mightydog-

FUNNY!

Seriously $127.50 for a 60" x 102" chunk of Filon is a GREAT price!
:applause:

Thanks for all the info! I may have a local source for aluminum, as well. Lots of good info!

Jim drop me a note, I've been lurking for a couple of months getting ideas and gathering materials. I'm looking at building a teardrop and was looking at Filon for sides. Interested in suppliers in the southeast. I've looked at All-Rite in Conyers, Ga - they are proud of there stuff.

Me and a buddy are planning on having two trailers for 2010 Beach Bum Parade.
