Teardrops n Tiny Travel Trailers

I decided to go with the Generic Benroy Plans modified to a 5'x10'. The plans are very well written and have been pretty easy to follow so far. My walls are made from 3/4" AC grade plywood. I have several questions:
1. If I don't plan to camp in temperatures below freezing, do I need to do further framing and insulating of the sidewalls?
2. Do I need to do reinforcing framing around the door cutouts?
3. I thought about finishing the interior walls with 1/8" beadboard, can I glue that directly to the plywood and if so is construction adhesive/liquid nails O.K.?
4. The generic benroy plans don't say much about installing the roof, can anyone recommend posts to this forum for that?
5. I really like the stretching plywood post, however, I discovered it after I had cut my walls. I'm joining mine with a lap joint. I've got a 10' 2'x2' across the bottom. The lap joint is glued with construction adhesive which doesn't seem to be holding to well at the top, any suggestions or will installation of the bulkhead with glue and screws take care of that?

Not really. A TD is small enough that a small heater/air conditioner works great.

Reinforcing the doors will make locks and handles easier and give you a better choice.

Yes and Yes. You can also cut the weight with paint or wall paper.

I put my ceiling on a preplanned ledge, then the spars and screwed and glued the roof layer on. Most of the builds will show how they did it. You can click on the pictures in the Hall of Fame. Clean off the glue that is not sticking and use some tightbond mho. Use good clamping and leave it for 12-24 hours.

Picture are as easy as clicking on the thumbnail in your album, Right click on the url addy and copy. Come to the post, click on IMG, right click and paste then click on close tabs or IMG..........enjoy

With the lap joint; what I've found is using epoxy is best. To clamp : I use (2) 1 X 2; one on each side with a series of hole drilled thru. Place nuts and screws to tighten. Once the epoxy sets; remove clamping feature and plug the holes.

Thanks for all the great advice. Hopefully it will warm up again soon and I can start on the cabinets.
