installed new porch lights

Postby Georgeandpat » Wed May 18, 2005 2:31 pm

Finally found and installed some porch lights that I really like. I had seen these being used as step lights on MTA buses in Los Angeles and thought they would look good as porch lights on a tear. The only "problem" was that they were recessed fixtures needing about an inch on the back. I modified the backs (read cut them off) and converted them to surface mounts since my walls were already framed, wired, and insulated. If anyone is interested let me know, they were about $25 each. George.

George--
Those look great. Are you going to tell us where you got them?
