Teardrops n Tiny Travel Trailers

I decided to build a cross-cut sled for my table saw. It took a little while to build and to square the fence, but it was worth the effort. (I still need to build the blade guard at the fence.)

The sled can cut up to 24" wide boards. The cuts are square, and I can use a block and clamp to make multiple cuts at the same length.



I wished I had built one sooner.

The truth is, like a lot of things I do, including the teardrop, I had the sled about 3/4 finished about 3 months ago, and it had been laying around waiting for me to get motivated. Well, I decided to build a tongue box to house my Petcool (see my "Silver Beatle" build journal), and needed to cut some plywood. So....I finished the sled and used it to cut materials for the tongue box.

I built on last year myself. Not nearly as nice as yours, though.
