Teardrops n Tiny Travel Trailers

Well I was out checking on my pride and joy and 1st build all due to the fact I was missing it and wanted to check its condition. Here in the Far North the temps and climate change quickly.

And of course my garage as many of you know is a poor mans shelter basically a tent. However the material is very good and has held up Finntastically well. How many years have I had it? Lost track of time and exceeded Living on Teardrop Time.

Well the front to back is insulated with 50mm blue styrofoam. However the sides are not but 20mm Marine Ply, Aluminum and Mahogany Veneer with Marine Urethane of 4 coats. And that b it.

As cold as it has been I dont understand why no frost or signs of it has formed on the inside ?? Can anyone tell me why? I thought there
would be but Nope. Nuttn.

Of course the walls are cold but that B it. What have I done right? Besides not having a garage? is a preventive?

Also I have moisture remover inside and window cracked open too is this
a preventive?

you need humidity to get frost... the reason you get frost outside is the air as it cools can not hold as much moisture, so it deposits it things like windows and it freezes.

Inside, there is not the supply of continual moisture you get outside. Outside, once it starts, the air dries and is continually replaced with new moist air... Inside, it is the same old air.. so, no frost.

If you want frost inside, shut the door while inside and breath on the window and you will eventually get frost... and you will finn-ally be happy.... :}

Im really glad that there is no frost issue inside. And I really dont desire it to be there. So Im very glad about it.

You could always sleep in it overnight and see if there is any frost in the morning!

you're very fortunate to live in such a "dry" climate!
