Hello, I would like to have a canopy that would be easy to attach over my window and even my air conditioner to help with keeping the weather off of both. I need to come up with a track of some type to just slide maybe a dowel rod into. I thought about PVC pipe with a slot cut into it, but I really need for it to be D-shaped so that it will mount flush with the sides. Does anyone have any ideas??? I'd like to leave the track mounted and have the awnings removable. Oh yea, I would like to keep it fairly inexpensive. I have a long track for over the entry door that I removed off the pop-up.

Thanks for any ideas.

Curtain rails and hangers for RV's might do the job!

My boat has an aluminun track above the windows. The canvas has a cord sewn into the top and just slides into the track. The track looks like a C channel and works rather well.
