Little Guy - how to attach lights in ceiling?

Any suggestions on how to attach lights to the ceiling of our Little Guy teardrop? We're adding electrical and want to drill, but am not sure what's up there and what to tie into.

Toggle bolts? Glue? Old bubble gum? What would you use to keep the lights on the ceiling?

Thanks all!

If you have to ask, go with something like this: http://www.homedepot.com/h_d1/N-5yc1vZ1 ... ogId=10053

They're bright, will stick to anywhere with the included adhesive, and are battery-powered so that you don't have to tear up everything to run wires.

They have similar products at Walmart, Kmart, Target, Lowes, etc. in the closet section.

Well, I've got lights already. I'm installing DC wiring, I'm just not sure what's behind that plastic ceiling. I'm afraid if I screw in there won't be anything to hold it up!

I would think a call to Little Guy would be in order. 877-545-4897

Oh, okay, I misread your question.

I'm sure the Little Guy has similar construction to the homemade trailers here. Lightly tap on the ceiling until it knocks back hard to find a stud, and mount it there...

You could also call Little Guy. I've heard they're quite helpful. ;)

Hi, i've had mine apart for wiring, the panels can be removed(carefully)then you'll see the supports, they're held in place with rv style staples.also it should be prewired for a electric vent also, the wiring is behind the ceiling(mine was)when i reinstalled the ceiling, used small white paneling nails and then filled the pull through from the old staples with a white wood filler.if you have any questions send me a pm.

I have a Little Guy 6-wide. The people at Little Guy have been wonderful regarding all my post-sale questions. You might want to shoot an email to Scott Hubble, the Director of Strategic Solutions at Little Guy Worldwide. If he doesn't know the answer, he will find someone who does. His addy is [email protected].
