Teardrops n Tiny Travel Trailers

I've done this on all my builds and some may not think it's a big deal, but I thought it made it look a little more "finished". I mark a radius and then take a 4" grinder with a sand disk and round off the corners on the windows. Just takes a second...clean it up with a mill file and touch up the paint or leave it if it's mill finish. It can be done any number of ways, but I think the finished look is a bit nicer than a squared off one. Just an idea. Others opinions may vary. Doug

Absolutely makes a difference. It's exactly the kind of small detail that I would like to incorporate in our TD's exterior. Finishing touches that don't cost much, but that add polish and some style. I'm currently obsessing over tail lights, as we're not doing anything fancy with our aluminum exterior, so it'll be up to the few details to create some personality. Going to add this to our plan...thanks, Doug.

Danny....while it's not a common thing to have happen..I dropped a window on my first build and at the last second threw my foot out to break its fall. While bandaging the hole in my ankle, I thought...a roundover would look nice. Doug

Doug, I remember you showing this in a thread awhile back and I thought at the time it was a great idea. I personally like what it does for the look of a window and plan on doing this on mine. Thanks for the idea (hard won as it was)

I have saved so many things with my foot, and regretted a few!

I did the same thing with my windows. I think it looks nicer and like Doug said, more finished. My door latches and hinges also have rounded corners so it all goes together. I used a quarter to mark the radius and a dremel to trim the corner off.

Definitely makes "the" difference. It's those small things that set a rig apart....
