Aluminun skin thickness

Postby LDK » Wed Mar 03, 2010 12:45 pm

Hello all, I've talked to a few suppliers of sheet aluminum (sign companys) here where I live and they can get it at .040 thickness. Is that a good thickness or should I go thinner or thicker??? I can get a 4x10 white enamel finish at $68.00 a sheet. Being the rookie that I am I would appreciate any and all advice. Thanks guys Larry :)

Yep, 040 is a good thickness (even for an 'offroad' trailer) and easy to work with. And the price is a fare price.
