Is there a glue that will adhere (stick) to vinyl piping and wood? Like glue them together.

Dear Gage

How about trying Sikaflex 292 . There are many types of Sikaflex for different uses and holds.  ;)

Here is the pdf info for it.

Gage, maybe an upholstery type contact adhesive? 3M makes a good one.

I have another type out in the shop that I've used with very good results for similar apps. Will check the brand on it for you later.

If you go the the Glue This to That Sticky and enter vinyl and wood, it recommends:

If your vinyl has a woven back we recommend:

Elmer's Carpenter's Glue
LePage's Sure Grip Carpentry Glue
Clamping can make the difference between success and failure here.

If your vinyl doesn't have a woven back we recommend:

LePage's Press-Tite Contact (solvent-based)
LePage's Press-Tite Green Contact Cement
3M Fastbond 30-NF

I don't know how any of it would work really...

Shaun is correct on that suggestion as well. That 3M glue that Ive used is a spray on. I,ll see if I can find the can and I,ll get the exact name of it. It does work very well.

Ok I found it.. here is the glue name. 3Mâ„¢ Super 77â„¢ Multipurpose Adhesive. Here its expensive but works well.

Also I have the 3M 74 glue as well.

thats the 3M one I was trying to remember Hiekki. Good stuff for bonding dis-similar(sp) materials.

As Elwood Blues said- "Very sticky stuff" ;)

Shaun here is the Url for other good 3M glues as well. Ive used many of them and no complaints on it.

Dont get it on your clothing or hands though. Tough to get off..Reckon Ive experienced that too.

Thank you for the responses. The reason for this question is my interior cabinet face is only 1/4" thick and I'm wanting to attach 1/8" vinyl piping common to the walls to give it that finished look. I did a test piece with staples but boy is that tricky. I use 3M-90, but for the application, spray glue is out. And with the vinyl piping being oil based, I just couldn't think of a glue that would do the job I was after.
