Can someone kindly show me the proper way of sealing the galley hatch?
Preferably with photos. The type of rubber seals you used or how you have done this?

Ive got the "Finn Voyager" out today since its a beautiful day here in the Far North. ;)

Well, I used Steve Fredrick's way to seal a hatch. Unfortunately you have to build it this way from the start. But of all the comments I have received on my teardrop, the most have come about the way the hatch seals. It is a very solid seal. A "D" rubber seal sits in a groove and fits on a piece of ply that sticks up...the gray part in the 3rd picture. It's gray because it's been primed but not painted yet. If water wants to come in, it must run uphill and through the seal. This has not happened and my galley has stayed dry, even towing in a driving rain.
