Teardrops n Tiny Travel Trailers

Then we drifted to slide out stoves, so I figured I might get more answers if I started a new thread.

I like the slide out stove idea, but how have you guys run your propane lines to the slide out? Do you use a natural gas quick disconect? A flex hose that slacks when closed?

I'm interested in this as well.
I'm thinking of putting the propane tank in a vented box on the tongue; and on an 8 ft. long Benroy teardrop, how long does the propane line have to be to reach back to the galley and accommodate the slideout?
Gonna test out the Camp Oven tomorrow evening on the way to my very first teardrop gathering. Can you tell I'm excited??

I'm going to run a galvanized pipe from front to back under the frame and pup it up through the floor in the gally cabinets. I had planned on a hose from the pipe through a hole in the counter to the stove. But, a slide out throws a kink in things (no pun intended).

both walls will be ready to glue up after this weekend, pictures should be on my build log early next week!!!

My stove isn't on sliders, but I can lift it, and move it a couple feet to the side so we can clean under and around it.

I had a flexible reinforced rubber line made, the kind fork lifts use.
They are super strong and very flexible.
It comes up through the counter behind the stove and the extra coils up under the counter.

It offers you many choices and combination for "connecting" things from hoses/fittings that use standard plumbing threads to some proprietary style fittings (disposable bottle)....

Only headache may be adapting from some form of proprietary fitting on stove (proprietary to manufacturer) to what "standard" you choose to use for your "plumbing"....

Be ware some connection or devices use left hand threads, but this is usually designated by a groove machined in flat areas of fitting where you would apply a wrench...
