Im just wondering as to how popular 13 inch tires are on teardrops? Home built or Factory.

The reason I ask is that my colleague suggests we use 13,s on our Lil Swan Build instead of 14,s..Doesnt look too bad either in my opinion.

Looks goodto me. A larger wheel/tire would fill the fender a bit more and I like that look better, but nothing wrong with what you are showing in your picture.

Kerry the Wheels are size 155 R 13 These wheels fill the fenders width very nicely. Here the law is that they cannot reach outside of the very edge of the fenders.

I havent had a chance to drive up to the shop since it takes about an hour but the frame is now with an EU Approved frame and its been galvanized as well as powder painted to black. I,ll try to get some new pics asap.

Waiting for some parts to arrive for the frame too. ;)

I would go for 185 x 14 van tyres, as they have the classic high side wall look, and being van tyres, will have plenty of strength to them. They are often cheaper too

While it's not a tear; the Compact Jr has B78-13 (must be originals). Even with it's larger size, the tires look appropriate for the trailer

Heikki, I used 13's on number 4 and was more than happy with the look/performance of them. Once again it comes down to personal preference, if you think it looks right, go for them. As for the van tyre recommendation, he is suggesting a Light truck tyre which, while they are "tougher", would be totally over the top for a TD. They are normally used on one tonne carrying capacity vehicles.
Cheers

LT tires are heavy, and if I hadent slept through phisics class I could tell you how rolling, unsuspended weight affects a vehicle.
