Securing the battery today and built this bracket. I want to be able to slide the battery out, and will be placing a wood support on the right side. The rear and the left side are keeping the battery in place with walls. want to put something on the front not through the floor but will still keep it from sliding around. what do you think.

If it works for you that is all that is important...

Bugne cords work well. Don't know how confined your area is, but what about the battery strap and bracket that came with your battery box?

I will admit it I am over engineering it. I am hoping this will see some off road action. I did take out the extension on the left hand bracket
I dont want the battery or water tank to move at all. To remove the battery just take out the nuts slide the bolts back and the battery will move out nice and reasy.

Also got a little plumbing done today. Life is good.
