Teardrops n Tiny Travel Trailers

This is my idea of a Tear Drop for my wife and myself. I like the curved shape of the Ultralight/ Australian design, but I wanted to stretch it out a bit
more from 8 ft to 9 1/2 ft and still use a 8 ft long by 5 ft wide trailer frame. I have looked at of the different designs here and incorporated then into this design. Do you see any areas that might need some changes?

Looks like a nice, clean design!

It actually looks pretty good. You might consider adding a couple inches in the front to give you lots more usable storage... But at first blush, it looks really good.

the wheel looks a little bit too far rearward... Check Andrews balance spreadsheet for some ideas.. Or use Larry S. forumla... 34 1/2" for 8'. 6" for each additional foot. Or in your case 43.5" from the rear of the trailer.

One suggestion; at the rear, the curved part below the hatch . . .hinge that down to allow more access to that 19.00 space.

That shape is exactly what I have done. When I started building mine, I thought mine was a one-off shape, but I now know different.
I will post some photos of my galley which I hope will be helpful in that we can acces the entire under-counter area using a hatch as in your design, and we have loads of other storage in the galley as well as the cabin.
My bride has promised to help me with the photos first thing in the morning (Oz time).
Once we have completed our teardrop, we will personalise our bedding, curtains, towels etc with our own custom designed embroidery.
As soon as we have run out some samples, I'll post some photos of these as well.

Thank you for the input on our trailer design. My goal is to make this a ultralight weight Tear Drop. I have a Nissan Exterra that I can pull it with, but I would like to be able to pull it with our Honda Civic also. The owners manual says that 1500 lbs. is the maximum trailer load for the Civic, but I want to keep it a lot lower that that. I think a 30 m.p.g. should be possible for this R.V. set up.

As I threatened to do, I have posted some photos of our galley and our 'shield' for the teardrop.
The photos should come up soon, if I have done everything correctly.
