So I started my build in a garage in October...bought some cold weather hardener for my RAKA epoxy, but didn't get to the point of really needing it until it was 95 degrees out. Rather than making yet another trip to buy stuff, I figure I'd give the cold hardener a shot...failure!!! Pout life about 4-5 minutes...the cup was too hot to hold!!!

As for the build...it's getting really close. Tomorrow, filon skin/roof, windows and door. The next day, trim it out, lights, etc. Then....I think I can camp!!!

Put the resin and hardener in the fridge; once cold, it will take longer to kick off

Use a baking sheet will increase the "pot" time of epoxy as well. Here when it gets to 105 and I'm boat building even using the slow hardener requires cooling it and putting it in a flat style pan to reduce the heat.

Put it in a baking sheet and put the baking sheet on something metal to pull the heat out of it while you work.
