Did you build your own doors or did you buy prefab ones? If you bought prefab, where did you get them?

Built mine also. It was a PITA but it was worth it. Prefab doors would not have looked as good.

I bought mine on eBay. They are the same doors that LittleGuy uses. Do a search on eBay for "teardrop doors," and you will find at least one seller.

Prefab doors are available at www.bigwoodycampers.com. You can also find a kit there for everything needed for traditional doors.

Bought mine prefab (from Vintek1958 on eBay).

For me it bought peace of mind, and a relatively "easy" installation.

I wasn't sure of my own personal construction skills/knowledge to make something that would function properly (not to mention air & water-tight)...coupling that with the cost of acquiring two sets of windows, latches, locks, handles, hinges, weatherstripping and anything else I left out, and it was the safer way for me.

Certainly a big bite in the wallet all at once...but the time involved to research how to do it and then construct it (again, for me), while adding up the cost of acquiring all the parts, and it was my best route. (Note: "my" best route.)

All the best!

Building the doors was perhaps the biggest PITA in my build, many times more trouble than building the hatch, but I was going for a certain look.

If the pre-made look works for you, you will be time and money ahead over making the doors when you consider what plywood/framing, windows, hinges, latches, t-molding, weatherstripping, etc. cost.
